Economic Development
Sustainable prosperity for the Haitian community starts with empowering entrepreneurs, building local economies, and channeling the power of remittances into lasting community investment.
- Entrepreneurship & small business — training, mentorship, and access to capital for Haitian-owned businesses
- Job creation & workforce development — partnerships with employers and vocational programs to expand pathways to employment
- Remittances & community investment — frameworks that redirect diaspora remittances into community-building initiatives
- Financial literacy — education programs that help families build wealth and navigate the US financial system
Civic Engagement
The church has a responsibility to help its community engage the civic process. We equip congregations and community members to vote, organize, and lead.
- Political representation — supporting qualified Haitian American candidates and advocating for representative government
- Community organizing — training grassroots leaders to build power in neighborhoods across the US
- Youth leadership — investing in the next generation of Haitian American civic leaders through programs and mentorship
- Voter education — registering voters and informing communities about issues that affect them directly
Ethical Public Policies
We engage legislators, agencies, and institutions to shape policies that reflect human dignity, equity, and the rule of law.
- Fair immigration policies — advocacy for humane immigration reform, TPS renewal, and pathways to citizenship
- Housing & urban development — fighting displacement and advocating for affordable housing in Haitian communities
- Justice system reform — engaging law enforcement and judicial institutions to ensure equal protection and due process
- Policy education — equipping faith leaders to engage the policy process with confidence and conviction
Cooperation for Peace
Peace is not the absence of conflict. It is the presence of justice. We work across borders and denominations to build it.
- Conflict resolution — providing mediation resources and training for community conflicts and inter-denominational disputes
- International peace initiatives — engaging diplomatic channels and faith-based networks to support stability in Haiti and the diaspora
- Faith-based peacebuilding — equipping the church to be an agent of reconciliation within communities and across political divides
- Interfaith collaboration — partnering with leaders of other faiths to advance common causes rooted in human dignity
